Recently, I acquired the ELS-0X1 Stagea while I still have the ELX-1.
My journy to rehabilitate my technique is ongoing. It is most rewarding to have the realistic orchestral voices of the Electones, both old and new.

| My Electone Love Affair |

In the 1970's, I was an young Electone teacher for a decade for one of the most succesful Yamaha dealers of the time. We had 30 pro size organs in one class room, and none had headphones.
I was part of a teaching team that developed a unique organ course designed to teach people of all ages to play for pure enjoyment. My youngest beginning student was 3 1/2 years old, and my oldest one was in her eighties.
I'm not sure who loved it more, my students who learned to play and love it, or their teacher who loved every minute of it. It was an exciting time in my life.
I stopped teaching in 1979 and pursued another career until recently. Although I played a little all those years, I did not keep up the technique and performance standard I enjoyed in the 70's. I never ever stopped loving music or the enjoyment of playing for others.
Last year, I acquired an ELX-1 and have been rebuilding technique and exploring the amazing digital sampled voices developed by Yamaha from the early 90's.
I plan to spend my next 10 years, once again, concentrating on improving my performance and playing for pure enjoyment, both mine and those who like to here me.
