| Midi for electone |

Okay, so my dad has a Yamaha digital sound processor spx50D, which had midi and I plugged it in to my electone mc-400 and nothing happened. Is there any certain thing I have to put it on? Some one get back to me with advice

I recently just got a Yamaha MC-400 electone, and proud of it. This thing is 1 of the greatest things I've ever had. I started out playing piano on a small Casio keyboard that I got bored with quicker than quick. So I wanted something new. I was looking in the paper one day, and look across the free adds, and there it was, so i called up right away. I was so excited to get it and it sounds great. I'm planing on getting an Oberheim matrix 1000, to plug into midi to get all the great sounds, w/o a synthesizer.
I LOVE MY ELECTONE!!!!
