I've come to this site because I recently inherited from my dear aunt her Electone FX-20 organ. My aunt bought this organ around 1983 and has played it daily until about a year ago. The organ has some problems; i. e., it will power on, light up, sliders move to default, and even the lower manual will work when the auto rhythm is on. But the upper manuals do not work. However, rarely, once in a great while, I can power it on and EVERYTHING will work. I can sit and play for about 5 minutes then the sound totally goes away. I have contacted a repairman in the area who has been around quite a long time and is familiar with Yamaha organs of this age. But he has a backlog and tells me it could be several weeks before he can look at it.
Actually, the piano is my instrument, not the organ. But I loved listening to my aunt play this magnificient instrument and she told me long ago that she wanted it to belong to me some day. She babied this organ and it is in pristine condition externally. I do so hope that it can be repaired and then that I can learn to play it.
